Litigation Legal Secretary - Bankruptcy & Commercial Litigation

Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid after 6 months)

A DTLA law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Secretary with strong bankruptcy and commercial litigation experience. This Litigation Legal Secretary will support busy attorneys, oversee litigation workflows, and ensure accurate and timely court filings. The ideal Litigation Legal Secretary thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage shifting priorities. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary seeking long-term stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, format, and proofread litigation documents.
  • Handle state, federal, and bankruptcy e-filings with accuracy.
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, and scheduling (Outlook & Milana).
  • Open new matters, prepare engagement letters, and maintain organized case files.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, travel, and expense processing.
  • Support attorneys, paralegals, and assist with overflow as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Litigation Legal Secretary experience (bankruptcy/commercial litigation preferred).
  • Knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and TOC/TOA formatting.
  • Proficient in PACER, ECF, iManage, Aderant, Litera, MS Office.
  • Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
